You will be part of Microsoft Azure Data Engineering, building and scaling managed PostgreSQL services and database migration solutions on Azure. The team works on mission-critical systems that power AI-driven, data-first applications used worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and innovate database migration solutions for Azure PostgreSQL

- Design and deliver features across the full software lifecycle

- Develop highly reliable, scalable, and secure cloud services

- Own architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, and production support

- Improve customer success by enabling smooth migration to Azure databases

- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

- Contribute to AI-enabled operational database platforms

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

- 0–1 years of professional software development experience

- Strong coding skills in C#, Rust, C, C++, Go, or similar languages

- Experience working on cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)

- Solid understanding of:

- Data structures & algorithms

- Systems design

- Distributed systems

- Strong problem-solving skills and engineering fundamentals

- Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases
