Microsoft is hiring Software Engineers to design, build, and deliver scalable software solutions used across cloud, enterprise, and consumer platforms. Salary & Package Details

- India Salary: ₹3 LPA to ₹8LPA (includes base pay, bonuses, and stock components; varies by level and performance)

- Abroad Salary: Not applicable for this role

Job Responsibilities

- Partner with stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Contribute to the architecture and design of product features under technical guidance.

- Develop, test, debug, and maintain scalable, extensible, and maintainable software systems.

- Write clean, well-documented code with a focus on reliability, performance, and diagnosability.

- Break down work items into tasks, provide estimates, and identify potential risks or delays.

- Participate in live service operations and on-call rotations to support production systems.

- Build and enhance automation for deployment, testing, and production workflows.

- Validate functionality through testing in non-production and simulated environments.

Skills Required

- Strong programming experience in one or more languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and object-oriented design.

- Experience in writing, testing, and debugging production-grade code.

- Knowledge of automation, deployment, and live service support practices.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and work collaboratively.

Eligibility & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

- Proven experience in software development or strong hands-on project experience.

- Willingness to work full-time in a fully on-site role in Bangalore.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.

- Travel requirement: Less than 25% (as applicable).
