Role Overview

The Software Engineer I role is designed for early-career engineers looking to grow in a fast-paced FinTech and SaaS environment. This is a general engineering position, and candidates will be aligned to teams based on skills, interests, and long-term career goals.

You will work on real-world products used by customers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Europe, contributing to cloud-native and mobile-first solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Engineering

- Build scalable and responsive web applications

- Work with React, Angular, or Vue.js

- Develop using HTML, CSS, JavaScript

- Collaborate with UX designers and backend engineers

Backend Engineering

- Develop server-side applications using Java, Python, Node.js

- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

- Design and consume RESTful APIs

- Use frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, Express

Full Stack Engineering

- Contribute across frontend and backend systems

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development

- Use CI/CD and version control tools like Git, Jenkins

Mobile Engineering (Optional Track)

- Develop Android or iOS applications

- Work with React Native or Flutter

- Integrate mobile apps with cloud APIs

Across All Teams

- Build cloud-based and SaaS financial platforms

- Solve real customer problems at global scale

- Learn best practices in secure, scalable software design

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming

- Academic, internship, or project experience in:

- Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or similar

- Basic understanding of frontend technologies

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Awareness of AI / Generative AI fundamentals
