Role Details

Position: Cloud Infrastructure Intern

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

Employment Type: Full-time Internship

Work Mode: On-site

Experience: Students / Fresh Graduates

Key Responsibilities

Virtualization & Kubernetes

- Work with KVM/KubeVirt virtual machine deployments

- Assist in configuring and monitoring Kubernetes clusters

- Test and document Helm chart deployments and ingress setups

- Learn container security and resource optimization

Linux Administration

- Perform Linux server administration (patching, logs, monitoring)

- Apply OS hardening techniques

- Troubleshoot system issues with guidance

Automation & Monitoring

- Build dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana

- Write automation scripts using Bash and Python

- Assist in incident response and log analysis

Infrastructure & Hardware

- Support server maintenance and hardware diagnostics

- Assist in managing SAN/NAS storage and network equipment

Documentation & Collaboration

- Maintain runbooks, documentation, and internal wikis

- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams

Technical Skills Required

Systems & OS

- Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)

Containers & Virtualization

- Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or VMs

Scripting

- Familiarity with Bash or Python scripting

---

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker

- Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP

- Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible (IaC tools)

- Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls)

- Familiarity with Prometheus / Grafana

---

Eligibility Criteria

- Pursuing or recently completed Computer Science / IT or related degree

- Strong interest in cloud infrastructure and DevOps

- Self-driven learner with curiosity to explore real-world systems
