Role Details

Position: DevOps Engineer Intern

Location: South San Francisco, California (Onsite)

Employment Type: Internship (Full-Time)

Duration: Summer 2026 (May/June – August)

Stipend: $40 – $44/hour

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineering Intern, you will work on systems that improve developer productivity, CI/CD pipelines, and software reliability. Your work will directly impact the performance and safety of autonomous drone systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines

- Build internal tools such as dashboards and automation bots

- Improve build performance and automated testing reliability

- Collaborate with engineers to enhance developer workflows

- Participate in debugging and troubleshooting large-scale systems

- Support infrastructure that powers autonomous aircraft software

Technical Skills Required

Programming & Development

- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Rust, or C++

- Familiarity with software development tools and workflows

DevOps & Tools

- Basic understanding of CI/CD systems and build tools

- Experience with Git and version control systems

Systems & Problem Solving

- Strong problem-solving mindset

- Interest in cloud systems, automation, and infrastructure

Eligibility Criteria

- Currently pursuing BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Strong foundation in programming and system design

- Ability to work full-time onsite during internship period

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
