Expected Salary

- India Salary: ₹6 LPA – ₹12 LPA (Estimated based on role level, skills, and industry standards)

Role Summary

As a Software Engineer I, you will analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain software for Zebra’s products and systems. You will work in a fast-growing Enterprise Software business unit, contributing to breakthrough products while collaborating in an Agile, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software for products and systems

- Perform system integration of software and hardware

- Develop, validate, test, and document software components

- Complete all phases of software engineering design projects

- Analyze processes, results, and recommend solutions

- Review upgrades and changes to existing designs or tests

- Work with modern technologies and new engineering approaches

- Participate in Agile teams to automate and improve software deployments

- Build and maintain automation frameworks with minimal manual effort

- Perform end-to-end testing of data ingestion, pipelines, transformations, and validations

- Conduct data quality testing and database validation using queries

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree required

- 0 to 2 years of experience

- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills

Technical Skills

- Test automation frameworks: Robot Framework, Selenium

- Test strategy, test artifacts, SIT test plans and test cases

- Object-oriented programming (Java preferred)

- Scripting: Bash, Ruby, Python, JavaScript

- SQL and database validation

- CI/CD concepts and Jenkins pipelines

- Troubleshooting, defect analysis, and root cause identification

- Monitoring tools and custom alerting

- Interest in Genetic Algorithm test generation frameworks

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) PaaS is a plus
