Role Overview

The Support Engineering team at Xplor is responsible for providing technical support for core payment systems, web applications, and API integrations. As a Trainee Engineer, you will support production issues, resolve escalations, and contribute to system stability while collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues.

- Handle escalated support tickets from internal teams.

- Resolve incidents, determine root causes, and implement fixes.

- Prioritize cases and escalate when required.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy long-term solutions.

- Manage tickets using internal Help Desk systems.

- Maintain internal documentation and knowledge base.

- Perform routine application checks and maintenance.

- Execute bulk data operations and resolve data issues.

- Generate reports and perform data analysis.

- Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.

- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Recent graduate with a technical degree.

- Experience with REST APIs.

- Knowledge of tools like Postman or SOAPUI.

- Good command of T-SQL.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and within a team.

Preferred (Beneficial) Skills

- Ability to write Postman scripts and SQL scripts.

- Background in software development.
