JOB OVERVIEW

Visa is hiring Software Engineers to join its Post Purchase engineering team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on building and scaling high-performance transactional payment systems using Java, DevOps, and cloud-native technologies. Candidates will work in an agile environment on large-scale, mission-critical fintech platforms used globally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications

• Build robust backend systems aligned with Visa’s global payment infrastructure

• Collaborate with cross-functional product, platform, and engineering teams

• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing systems

TECHNOLOGIES & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Java, Spring Boot, Reactive Spring

• DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab CI, CircleCI)

• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes

• Messaging & Streaming: Kafka, Kafka Streams

• Version Control: Git, GitHub

• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana

• Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Agile / Scrum development methodologies

• AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline

• 2024 or 2025 graduates eligible

• 1–2 years of relevant software development or DevOps experience

• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
