Role Summary

TraceLink is seeking a Cloud Engineer I to join its Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role focuses on AWS cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, reliability engineering, and automation. You will collaborate with global engineering teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficient cloud operations across TraceLink’s mission-critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud infrastructure aligned with business OKRs

- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to prioritize SRE backlogs and initiatives

- Design, build, test, document, and maintain cloud-native tools and automation

- Improve system efficiency, reduce operational toil, and enhance platform scalability

- Participate in release management, incident response, and outage triage

- Contribute to blameless postmortems and refine runbooks to reduce MTTR

- Provide on-call support in a global “Follow-the-Sun” model

- Optimize AWS resource utilization for cost-effective service delivery

Required Qualifications

- 2–4 years of experience as Cloud Engineer / SRE / DevOps / Systems Engineer

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud

- Practical experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

- Experience with observability and monitoring tools

- Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE best practices

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

- Proficiency in Python scripting

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or platforms

- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
