Job Summary

Toradex is hiring a DevOps Engineer to strengthen its cloud engineering and infrastructure operations team. This role focuses on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud Security, Automation, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Migration, Kubernetes, Monitoring, and Global Cloud Infrastructure.

You will design, automate, secure, and optimize enterprise cloud environments while supporting high-availability services, global application delivery, cloud migration initiatives, and infrastructure modernization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for highly available production environments.

- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar DevOps platforms.

- Develop automation scripts and cloud tools using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or similar languages.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and production environments using modern observability tools.

- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term reliability improvements.

- Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, secrets management, network security, and audit controls.

- Support migration of enterprise workloads from on-premises infrastructure to AWS Cloud.

- Optimize global application delivery through CDN, DNS optimization, caching, and edge computing strategies.

- Implement bot protection, rate limiting, web application firewall (WAF) policies, and traffic optimization.

- Maintain deployment documentation, architecture diagrams, operational standards, and disaster recovery procedures.

- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, platform, and infrastructure teams to continuously improve cloud operations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

- Strong knowledge of Git and GitLab workflows.

- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with cloud automation and scripting.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
