About the Role

We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Software Tester to join our growing QA team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or individuals with up to 1 year of experience in software testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality software is delivered to clients and will gain hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and prioritize testing requirements

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases

- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide QA insights

- Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and black-box testing

- Assist in implementing QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

- Analyze test results, detect trends, and recommend process improvements

Skills & Requirements

- Good understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies

- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver (preferred)

- Knowledge of version control systems like Git

- Hands-on experience or training in manual testing; exposure to automation is a plus

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Strong communication and team collaboration skills

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying defects

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing processes
