About the Team & Role

Swiggy’s engineering team is responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms used by customers, partners, and delivery executives. As an ASDET, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mobile, web, backend, and frontend applications.

Responsibilities

- Conduct functional testing for mobile applications (Android/iOS).

- Perform API testing using Java; experience with Selenium and Appium preferred.

- Develop test plans and cases ensuring maximum test coverage.

- Use testing tools such as JIRA, Postman, and Charles Proxy.

- Understand SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.

- Manage defect life cycle with proper severity and priority assignment.

- Execute multi-platform testing with attention to detail.

- Work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and product teams.

Required Skills & Qualities

- Strong understanding of software testing principles.

- Knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs.

- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming.

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Experience with Selenium, Appium, Java is a plus.

- Familiarity with LambdaTest, BrowserStack preferred.
