They are currently hiring a DevOps / Cloud Operations Intern (Summer 2026) to join their engineering team.

Role Details

Position: DevOps Intern (Cloud Operations)

Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid – In-office Wednesdays)

Employment Type: Full-Time Internship (9 Weeks)

Internship Duration: June 3 – August 7, 2026

Compensation: $20/hour

Work Mode: Hybrid (South Congress Office)

Key Responsibilities

- Support monitoring and observability across cloud infrastructure

- Assist in alert tuning to improve signal quality and reduce alert fatigue

- Build dashboards to visualize system health and performance

- Contribute to automation using Infrastructure as Code and scripting

- Work with tools like AWS CloudWatch, New Relic, PagerDuty, Spacelift, and Terraform

- Collaborate with engineers on cloud infrastructure improvements

- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues

- Document processes, dashboards, and system improvements

Technical Skills Required

Cloud & Systems

- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

- Working knowledge of Linux systems

Programming & Tools

- Familiarity with Python or Bash scripting

- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation)

Core Concepts

- Understanding of monitoring, alerting, and observability fundamentals

- Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment

Eligibility Criteria

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Experience via coursework, projects, or prior internships in cloud/DevOps

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a collaborative, async team environment

Preferred Skills

- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, New Relic)

- Familiarity with incident management tools like PagerDuty

- Exposure to infrastructure automation projects

- Understanding of DevOps and cloud best practices

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Important Notes

- Hybrid internship with mandatory in-office presence on Wednesdays

- No on-call responsibilities (learning-focused role)

- Visa sponsorship is not provided

- Hands-on experience with real production systems
