Role Overview

As an SDET Intern at Sprinto, you will gain hands-on experience in test automation, debugging, and quality assurance while working alongside experienced developers and QA engineers. This role is perfect for students and fresh graduates looking to start a career in software testing, quality engineering, and automation development.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in writing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

- Collaborate with mentors to review product requirements and design test strategies.

- Improve test coverage by identifying missing cases and reducing test flakiness.

- Support manual testing and regression runs for new product features.

- Work with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure end-to-end functionality validation.

Requirements

- Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript/Node.js (Python, Java, or similar languages are also acceptable).

- Familiarity with at least one automation framework (Playwright, Selenium, Jest, PyTest, etc.).

- Understanding of software testing fundamentals – test cases, assertions, debugging basics.

- Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
