Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer to join our Product Quality Team. You will design, develop, and execute test automation strategies for next-generation AspenTech products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with test automation, CI/CD, and cloud technologies in a fast-paced, global, and innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend, UI, and APIs.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines to configure and patch multiple environments.

- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality.

- Conduct requirements analysis, test strategies, and defect reporting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams in an Agile setup.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- 0–3 years’ experience in Software Quality/Testing (Freshers welcome).

- Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, Perl).

- Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments.

- Knowledge of manual & automated testing best practices.

- Familiarity with databases (SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).

- Experience with Git/Subversion and CI/CD tools preferred.

- Networking and system administration skills are a plus.
