JOB SUMMARY:

Join Sasken Technologies as a Software Test & Release Engineer and kickstart your career in IT. This role focuses on software testing, bug fixing, release management, and technical support. You will work on real-time projects, gain hands-on experience in the SDLC, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced IT environment. Ideal for graduates with a passion for software engineering, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in design, coding, testing, debugging, and release of software applications.

- Identify and resolve technical issues in existing systems by following defined processes.

- Perform L2/L3 application support and troubleshooting within SLAs.

- Prepare documentation for code changes, releases, and test cases.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Follow organizational standards and checklists for deliverables and reporting.

- Continuously improve technical skills through training, self-learning, and assessments.

- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure smooth release cycles.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Engineering Graduate (B.E / B.Tech) or MCA with strong programming fundamentals.

- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SDLC, and software testing methodologies.

- Basic knowledge of coding languages (.NET, Python, or Angular) is a plus.

- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to dynamic IT projects.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

- Knowledge of software bug tracking tools and version control (Git, GitHub).

- Exposure to Agile methodology, software QA processes, and manual testing.

- Internship or academic project experience in software development or testing.
