Job Summary

We are hiring a Junior Linux System Administrator to join our global technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and motivated to grow their career in cloud and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain Linux servers to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

- Assist in server deployment, configuration, and migrations.

- Perform system updates, patches, and scheduled backups.

- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, logs, and security alerts.

- Provide technical support and resolve client issues effectively.

- Document processes, configurations, and standard procedures.

- Collaborate with senior admins and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–2 years of experience in Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian).

- Knowledge of networking concepts: IP, DNS, Firewall, SSH.

- Familiarity with server software: Apache/Nginx, MySQL, FTP.

- Hands-on command line (CLI) & remote system (SSH) expertise.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Good written and verbal communication.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)

- Exposure to cPanel/WHM, DirectAdmin, or hosting control panels.

- Experience with virtualization platforms (KVM, VMware, Proxmox).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Scripting skills in Bash/Python.

- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus).
