Job Overview

RChilli is hiring an IT System & Security Engineer to support IT infrastructure, system administration, network security, and cloud operations. This role is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience looking to grow into a professional IT Security / System Admin career.

Work Mode: Onsite, Mohali

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Role Summary

The engineer will help manage IT systems, secure networks, maintain endpoints, assist with Linux-based systems, and support cloud and collaboration tools. This role expects strong fundamentals in system administration, network security, Linux operations, and IT support workflows.

Job Responsibilities

1. Network & Infrastructure Support

- Assist in configuring and monitoring Unifi (USG) for VPN, IDS/IPS, and traffic management.

- Coordinate with broadband vendors (Airtel, Connect, Jio) for uptime.

- Troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi issues, manage access points, and handle IP allocation.

- Monitor bandwidth, alerts, and network health.

2. System Administration

- Provide L1 support through Service Desk Tool.

- Maintain asset inventory, patching, and installations using ManageEngine Endpoint.

- Set up and maintain laptops/workstations and peripherals.

- Use Prey Inc. for endpoint tracking and device recovery.

3. Linux Administration

- Manage Linux servers with basic CLI operations (users, permissions, logs, cron, networking).

- Support GCP/AWS servers for updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Perform backups, patches, and security hardening tasks.

4. Security & Access Management

- Assist in managing 1Password, MFA, SSO across G Suite, Bitbucket, Jira, Zoom.

- Monitor Teramind for compliance and alerts.

- Support vulnerability checks using Burp Suite and assist in remediation.

5. Cloud & Application Support

- Support Bitbucket access, repository coordination, and deployments.

- Assist in GCP/OCI monitoring, IAM review, and cloud security practices.

- Help maintain secure cloud configurations and API endpoints.

6. Collaboration Tools & IT Support

- Manage user access for G Suite, SharePoint, Whale, Jira, Zoom.

- Assist in onboarding of new employees with IT setup.

- Ensure compliance with RChilli IT and security policies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- Relevant certifications are a plus.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- 0–2 years in IT Support / System Administration / Security Operations.

- Basic Linux administration & troubleshooting.

- Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN.

- Exposure to AWS / GCP Cloud.

- Experience with ServiceDesk, ManageEngine, Bitbucket.

- Knowledge of MFA, DLP, password management.

- Strong communication & documentation skills.
