This role focuses on AWS cloud operations, incident management, automation, and infrastructure optimization while supporting production systems.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure

- Ensure system availability, performance, and security

- Handle incident triage, investigation, and resolution

- Participate in on-call rotations for production support

- Monitor system resources (CPU, memory, disk usage)

- Perform OS and application patching and updates

- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents

- Build automation for monitoring and issue resolution

Day-to-day activities

- Monitoring cloud environments and alerts

- Resolving infrastructure issues

- Managing tickets and incidents

- Automating repetitive operational tasks

- Supporting production systems

Required skills

- Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud or DevOps roles

- Strong knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms

- Experience with VMs, VPC/VNET, load balancers, DNS

- Server administration experience (Linux & Windows)

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred skills

- Knowledge of IAM and cloud security best practices

- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)

- Understanding of cost optimization in AWS

- Familiarity with cloud security tools (WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub)

- Exposure to AI/cloud-based AI services

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
