PERCO.AI is Hiring Cloud Development Engineering Intern

CaelumenAI is building the governed production layer for agent-native software through its flagship product, PERCO. The platform helps engineering teams turn AI-generated software changes into controlled, reviewable, and verifiable production releases.

As a Cloud Development Engineering Intern, you will work across cloud infrastructure, application development, deployment workflows, testing, and verification tooling. This role is designed for candidates who enjoy building real products, investigating failures, automating repetitive processes, and validating that systems work reliably from development through production.

You will have the opportunity to own clearly scoped engineering projects from implementation and testing through debugging, validation, and evidence-backed delivery.

What You'll Do

- Build and improve cloud-backed product and deployment workflows using Python, web technologies, APIs, and Google Cloud.

- Contribute to cloud infrastructure and modern application deployment workflows.

- Work with AI coding agents as engineering collaborators by preparing context, reviewing generated outputs, and making final technical decisions.

- Develop automated validation and testing workflows using pytest, Playwright, logs, and deployment evidence.

- Investigate application and infrastructure failures to identify root causes.

- Implement durable fixes and add regression testing to prevent recurring issues.

- Support secure, observable, and human-controlled software release processes.

- Work with development, cloud infrastructure, and product teams to deliver reliable engineering solutions.

- Test user-facing workflows in real browser environments and validate end-to-end application behavior.

- Read and analyze application logs, deployment information, and system evidence during troubleshooting.

- Maintain Git-based development workflows and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

- Document technical decisions, testing results, troubleshooting findings, and deployment outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

- Understanding of web development fundamentals and APIs.

- Basic understanding of cloud computing and cloud infrastructure.

- Familiarity with containers, CI/CD, or Infrastructure as Code through academic projects, personal projects, internships, or professional experience.

- Ability to read application logs and troubleshoot technical issues.

- Comfortable testing applications using real browsers and validating user-facing workflows.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Good written communication and ability to explain technical decisions clearly.

- Ownership mindset with a focus on evidence, testing, reliability, and continuous learning.
