Job Summary
As an Associate DevOps Engineer, you will provide operational and engineering support for the Advocate Central platform. You will work across Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform, monitoring, observability, security, networking, automation, incident management, and production support.
The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively with software engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams in a global 24x7 operational environment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide 24x7 operational support for the Advocate Central platform.
- Maintain system availability, reliability, and performance across production and non-production environments.
- Monitor application, infrastructure, and platform health using enterprise monitoring and observability tools.
- Investigate alerts and perform initial incident triage.
- Coordinate incident resolution activities with appropriate technical teams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
- Assist with Azure cloud infrastructure administration.
- Support application hosting, networking, security configurations, and platform maintenance.
- Participate in production deployments and change management activities.
- Perform post-deployment validation to ensure successful releases.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, database, networking, and integration issues.
- Maintain operational runbooks, standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with software engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Support security initiatives, vulnerability remediation, access reviews, compliance activities, and certificate management.
- Assist with disaster recovery preparedness and business continuity testing.
- Support platform resiliency and high-availability improvements.
- Analyze logs, metrics, and operational data to identify performance issues and recurring problems.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevSecOps initiatives.
- Support cloud transformation, network modernization, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives.
- Collaborate with global DevOps and support teams to provide continuous operational coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience defining, designing, implementing, or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- 1+ year of experience working with Docker or containerized application deployments.
- 1+ year of experience designing, implementing, or troubleshooting cloud networking solutions.
- 1+ year of experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security practices.
- Understanding of vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, routing, and network security.
- Understanding of high-availability architectures and reliability engineering principles.
- Knowledge of monitoring strategies and incident management processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered engineering tools.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production applications in a 24x7 operational environment.
- Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
- Python development and automation experience.
- Knowledge of AI model integration.
- Understanding of AI-enabled application architectures.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security frameworks.
