Opstergo is Hiring Student DevOps Engineer

Opstergo is looking for motivated Student DevOps Engineers who are excited to begin their careers in Cloud Computing, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, and modern software delivery. Previous DevOps experience is helpful but not required. The most important qualities are curiosity, adaptability, willingness to learn, and the determination to develop strong engineering skills.

This role provides an opportunity to work with modern technologies, contribute to client projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and gain practical exposure to real-world cloud and DevOps environments.

The position is available on a part-time or full-time basis, with flexible working arrangements that allow students to balance their studies and professional development.

What You'll Do

- Learn and work with modern Cloud Computing and DevOps technologies.

- Prepare to contribute to real-world client projects and engineering initiatives.

- Work alongside experienced engineers to understand cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.

- Assist with DevOps automation and software delivery activities.

- Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.

- Work with cloud platforms, infrastructure, containers, and networking technologies.

- Contribute to technical documentation and project knowledge-sharing activities.

- Communicate with clients under the guidance and support of experienced team members.

- Research and learn new technologies based on project requirements.

- Troubleshoot technical issues and develop practical engineering problem-solving skills.

- Continuously improve technical knowledge across Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Genuine interest in learning new technologies.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic engineering environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

- Motivation to develop a career in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.

Nice to Have Skills

- Programming experience in any language.

- Prior DevOps experience.

- Docker.

- Kubernetes.

- Linux.

- Networking fundamentals.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- CI/CD pipelines.

- Git and version control.

- Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.

- Bash or Python scripting.

- Cloud infrastructure and automation.

- Monitoring and troubleshooting.

Working Hours

- Flexible working hours.
