NOV Hiring Entry level DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Customer experience is at the core of what we do. We are hiring an enthusiastic Entry-Level DevOps Engineer to support cloud, automation, and infrastructure operations. This is an ideal opportunity for fresh graduates who enjoy coding, problem-solving, and modern DevOps practices.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud systems, and monitoring platforms within our software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments

- Support Developers and QA teams for smooth integrations

- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments

- Learn and apply best practices in automation, Kubernetes, Git, and Docker

- Document processes, propose improvements, and participate in technical discussions

- Research new DevOps tools and technologies

- Work on real infrastructure, observability, and automation projects

- Grow skills across cloud engineering, automation, and reliability

Requirements

- Curiosity, analytical thinking, and eagerness to learn

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering

- Exposure through projects or coursework to:

- Python, Bash, PowerShell

- Git / GitHub

- Cloud fundamentals (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Networking basics

- Databases & SQL

- Docker basics (bonus)

- Experience debugging issues and collaborating in team-based projects

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines

- Understanding of monitoring/logging tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog

- Interest in Cloud Automation, Cloud Security, SRE, Kubernetes
