About the Role

Nordcloud is hiring a skilled DevOps Engineer to support large-scale cloud transformation projects across the United Kingdom. As a European cloud leader, Nordcloud delivers high-value cloud modernization services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, serving enterprise-level customers across high-CPC regions including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions

- Manage Azure cloud infrastructure including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization

- Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes

- Collaborate with developers & architects to improve deployment automation and release management

- Own & optimize GitHub repositories across the organization

- Maintain code quality, branching strategies, and best-practice repository structure

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM, Bicep, or Terraform

- Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness following public-sector standards

- Provide consultancy on Azure DevOps, GitHub, and automation practices

- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and performance issues

Requirements

- Azure Certified (AZ-104, AZ-400 or similar)

- Minimum 3 years experience in DevOps

- Minimum 1 year working with GitHub

- Experience with public-sector or consulting projects

- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, SDLC, CI/CD

Preferred

- GitHub Foundations Certificate (GH-900)
