Job Overview:

Nike is seeking a Software Engineer I to join its Global Technology team. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or developers with up to 2 years of experience. You will help build consumer-facing digital products using cloud-native technologies and modern frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native web/mobile applications

- Develop tools and frameworks to improve system performance, reliability, and security

- Write well-documented, tested, and maintainable code

- Contribute to code reviews and agile sprint activities

- Support cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Evangelize open-source software and agile principles

- Explore new technologies and deliver POCs as needed

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

- 0–2 years of hands-on experience in software development

- Knowledge of one or more programming languages: Java, Python, React, JavaScript, or Swift

- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control

- Database knowledge (Relational: Oracle, MS SQL | NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra)

- Good understanding of system architecture, testing practices, and documentation

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Growth mindset and a strong drive to learn new technologies

- Exposure to SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

- Experience building consumer-facing applications

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
