About the Role

Netomi is seeking a DevOps Engineer to collaborate with engineering teams to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, reliability, and continuous monitoring across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Kubernetes Management

- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters

- Configure RBAC and access control

- Optimize performance, scaling, and resource allocation

CI/CD Pipeline Development

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, etc.

- Automate deployment workflows to reduce lead times

Helm Templates

- Create and enhance Helm charts

- Maintain versioning and deployment standards

Service Mesh Implementation

- Implement service mesh solutions like Istio or Linkerd

- Manage observability, traffic routing, and secure communication

Scripting & Automation

- Automate operations using Python, Ruby, or Golang

- Build scripts for infrastructure provisioning and monitoring

(Bonus) Chaos & Resilience Engineering

- Implement chaos engineering tools

- Test system reliability under failure conditions

Requirements

Experience

- Minimum 2 years in DevOps or related role

Tools & Technologies

- Kubernetes (RBAC, Helm, cluster administration)

- Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker

- Istio, Linkerd, or similar service mesh

- Mandatory: Amazon ECS & Terraform

Skills

- Strong scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Golang)

- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure

- Good understanding of networking, system design, and infrastructure

Bonus Skills

- Chaos engineering tools such as Chaos Monkey, Gremlin, LitmusChaos
