Neat is hiring a Graduate / Junior DevOps / Platform Engineer to join its Product Design & Engineering team in Cambridge, UK. This is an early-career opportunity for a technology enthusiast interested in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and scalable cloud platforms.

Neat develops video devices and workplace technology that natively supports platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom. The Cambridge engineering team builds and delivers Neat's cloud management platform for hybrid and smart office technologies.

About the Role

You will join a small, collaborative engineering team responsible for building and scaling cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, delivery pipelines, testing systems, and automation platforms.

The role combines infrastructure engineering and developer tooling, giving you the opportunity to design, implement, test, operate, and improve robust cloud systems. You will work alongside experienced senior engineers while gaining practical experience with modern DevOps and Platform Engineering technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, scale, and operate cloud platform infrastructure and developer tooling.

- Design and implement infrastructure automation and reliable deployment solutions.

- Work with Docker and containerized applications.

- Support Kubernetes and Helm based environments.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.

- Work with cloud deployment and networking technologies.

- Contribute to databases and other data storage technologies.

- Build and maintain automated testing tools and frameworks.

- Implement and improve metrics, monitoring, and observability systems.

- Support security-focused infrastructure and platform improvements.

- Work with continuous integration and delivery systems.

- Help improve platform performance, reliability, scalability, and high availability.

- Explore and test new technologies that can improve the delivery platform or Neat's products.

- Over time, participate in the incident response team, investigating, mitigating, and resolving internal and external technical issues.
