Position: DevOps / Platform Engineer

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of real-time systems.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Design and manage infrastructure on Oracle Cloud (OCI)

- Configure networking (VCN, subnets, load balancers, DNS)

Kubernetes & Containers

- Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters (OKE or equivalent)

- Manage namespaces, RBAC, autoscaling, deployments

CI/CD & Automation

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI)

- Automate workflows using Terraform, Helm, Bash, Python

Networking & Systems

- Work with TCP/UDP protocols for real-time systems

- Support camera streams, telematics, and device integrations

Monitoring & Observability

- Implement logging, metrics, tracing, alerts, dashboards

- Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry

Security & Reliability

- Implement IAM, TLS, secrets management, OS hardening

- Improve system reliability using blue/green, canary deployments

Operations

- Participate in on-call, incident response, and RCA

- Optimize cloud cost and performance

Technical Skills Required

Cloud Platforms

- Experience with Oracle Cloud (preferred) / AWS / GCP / Azure

Kubernetes

- Strong expertise in cluster operations, ingress, Helm, scaling

DevOps & CI/CD

- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines

Infrastructure as Code

- Tools like Terraform, Helm

Systems

- Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration

Networking

- Understanding of TCP/UDP, DNS, routing, load balancing

Scripting

- Proficiency in Python or Bash

Monitoring

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry

Preferred Skills

- Experience with OCI services (OKE, IAM, Object Storage)

- Knowledge of IoT / telematics / real-time data systems

- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ (message queues)

- Experience with Vault or secrets management tools

- Understanding of microservices and SaaS architectures

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field

- 2–5 years experience in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering
