Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Product Engineering (NISCRM)

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior QA Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. This role involves manual and automated testing, ensuring application reliability, and supporting our enterprise-level insurance platforms. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in testing tools, database knowledge, and scripting while contributing to the security, performance, and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform advanced manual feature testing for insurance domain applications.

- Create, execute, and maintain test cases using industry-standard QA practices.

- Use JUnit and other testing tools for test automation and quality checks.

- Perform analytics and reporting on testing outcomes.

- Conduct automated sanity, load, and performance testing using Java scripting.

- Collaborate with developers to identify and fix bugs early in the development cycle.

- Review application functionality for compliance with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, HITRUST frameworks.

- Validate database queries and back-end data integrity using MySQL or related databases.

- Understand PHP code (optional) to assist in debugging and validation.

- Take full ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.

- 3+ years of experience in manual feature testing and automation.

- Strong understanding of JUnit, Java scripting, and automated testing frameworks.

- Experience in load testing, performance testing, and QA best practices.

- Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.

- Familiarity with digital automation tools and quality management tools.

- High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills.

- Understanding of PHP for debugging purposes.
