Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer I (Graduate), you will be part of a high-performing infrastructure team, contributing to the development of scalable, secure, and innovative systems that support Mintel’s global clients. This position provides hands-on experience with cloud, observability, and open-source tools while working alongside experienced engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in building and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions.

- Research, test, and assess emerging technologies for adoption.

- Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver infrastructure capabilities aligned with technical roadmaps.

- Configure and manage observability tools such as Prometheus, Loki, and Cortex.

- Contribute to open-source projects and leverage tools within our stack.

- Maintain system documentation for clarity and knowledge sharing.

- Continuously upskill through mentorship and hands-on project experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Basic knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Loki).

- Exposure to scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, Go).

- Interest in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Enthusiasm for open-source technologies.

- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
