Core Requirements

1. Cloud (Mandatory)

- Strong technical hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Engineering & Automation

- Practical knowledge of core AWS services:

Landing Zone, Control Tower, Transit Gateway, VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling

- Proficiency in scripting:

Python, Bash, Ruby, Groovy, Java, JavaScript

- Experience in Cloud Monitoring, Security Hardening, and Cost Optimization

2. Automation (Mandatory)

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using:

- Terraform

- CloudFormation

- Azure ARM / Bicep

- Ansible / Chef / Puppet

3. CI/CD (Mandatory)

Experience building scalable CI/CD pipelines using:

- Jenkins

- AWS CodeCommit / CodeBuild / CodePipeline / CodeDeploy

- GitLab CI

- Azure DevOps

4. Containers & Orchestration (Good to Have)

Hands-on experience with:

- Docker, Docker Swarm

- Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE or On-Prem)

- OpenShift

- Helm Charts

- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate

Key Responsibilities

- Lead cloud architecture, design discussions, and customer consultations

- Apply AWS best practices including the AWS Well-Architected Framework

- Implement solutions with focus on Cloud Security, Cost Optimization, Automation, and Governance

- Independently manage customer engagements and new project deals

- Mentor and train junior engineers in Cloud, DevOps, and Automation

- Drive proactive meetings to identify delays, gaps, and risks

- Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cloud and DevSecOps

- Support application teams in deployment automation, infrastructure design, and cloud integration

- Maintain and improve existing cloud environments with enhanced monitoring, security posture, and reliability

- Promote continuous improvement through scripting and automation
