Role Details

Position: DevOps Intern

Location: Remote (United States)

Employment Type: Full-Time Internship

Duration: 10 Weeks (Summer Program)

Schedule: 40 hours/week (8 AM – 6 PM ET)

Compensation: $20 – $30/hour

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and shared libraries

- Assist in building scalable solutions in AWS cloud environments

- Support DevSecOps implementation across development lifecycle

- Automate build, test, and deployment processes

- Design and maintain highly available and scalable architectures

- Work on monitoring, alerting, and automation improvements

- Collaborate with teams to resolve outages and technical issues

- Support security, compliance, and privacy standards

- Create and maintain technical documentation

Technical Skills Required

Cloud & DevOps

- Basic knowledge of AWS / Azure cloud platforms

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub)

- Understanding of DevOps and automation practices

Programming & Tools

- Hands-on experience with at least one language (Python, Java, Bash, NodeJS, etc.)

- Knowledge of Git version control

- Familiarity with Linux systems

Infrastructure & Containers

- Interest in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm

- Understanding of distributed systems and scalability concepts

Eligibility Criteria

- High school diploma or GED with 0–2 years experience, or equivalent

- Preferably a rising college senior in Computer Science or related field

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Soft Skills

- Self-starter with proactive mindset

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently in a remote setup

- Good time management and organizational skills

Important Notes

- Fully remote internship (USA-based candidates only)

- Internship can be used for academic credit (if eligible)
