Macquarie Group is hiring a Junior Cloud Consultant in Hyderabad for a permanent, full-time position within its Technology – Engineering team.

This role is focused on AWS Cloud, cloud engineering, cloud support, infrastructure deployment, automation, cloud migration, system integration, security, networking, and CI/CD. You will work with technology teams to resolve cloud-related customer issues, improve support processes, and help transform application and infrastructure deployment through effective adoption and optimization of AWS Cloud solutions.

About the Role

As a Junior Cloud Consultant, you will work in a cloud engineering environment where you will diagnose and resolve AWS Cloud customer issues, manage service-wide communications, and contribute to improvements in cloud support processes.

You will collaborate with technology teams to support the transformation of application and infrastructure deployment while helping teams successfully adopt and optimize AWS Cloud solutions.

The role provides exposure to public and private cloud environments, multi-cloud workload migration, cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, containerization, CI/CD automation, networking, security, and resilient system integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and resolve AWS Cloud customer issues.

- Provide support for cloud-related application and infrastructure environments.

- Manage service-wide communications related to cloud services and customer issues.

- Identify opportunities to improve cloud support processes and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with technology teams to transform application and infrastructure deployment.

- Support the successful adoption and optimization of AWS Cloud solutions.

- Work with public and private cloud environments.

- Contribute to multi-cloud workload migration activities.

- Consider architecture, security, and resilience when working with system integration.

- Use scripting and automation to support cloud engineering and operational activities.

- Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes.

- Work with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation.

- Apply networking and cloud security knowledge when troubleshooting and supporting cloud environments.

- Investigate technical issues and develop effective solutions.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Work independently while collaborating effectively with technology teams.

Required Technical Skills

Cloud Computing

- Strong technical knowledge of public and private cloud environments.

- Experience with AWS Cloud.

- Understanding of multi-cloud environments and workload migration.

- Knowledge of cloud architecture, security, and resilience.

System Integration

- Broad understanding of system integration.

- Ability to consider architecture, security, and resilience when designing or supporting integrated systems.

Scripting & Automation

Experience with scripting languages such as:

- Python

- Bash

- PowerShell

Containers & Orchestration

Experience or knowledge of:

- Docker

- Kubernetes

- Containerization

CI/CD

Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools, including:

- Jenkins

- GitLab CI

Infrastructure as Code

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation.

- Solid knowledge of cloud networking.

- Understanding of cloud and infrastructure security.

- Ability to consider security and resilience when working with cloud systems and integrations.

Problem-Solving & Communication

The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving and communication skills and be comfortable working independently.

You should be able to investigate technical problems, understand customer requirements, develop solutions, and explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
