Job Description

KRAN Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a System Administrator Trainee to join its IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who want hands-on exposure to Linux & Windows system administration, networking, databases, cloud platforms, and security systems. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain real-world enterprise IT operations experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop strong hands-on knowledge of Linux OS and system software

- Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, routers, switches, storage devices, and network equipment

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues

- Support user account management, permissions, and access controls

- Assist in implementing IT security measures to protect systems and data

- Provide technical support to end-users and escalate issues when required

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software upgrades and deployments

- Execute system backups and support disaster recovery planning

- Maintain system documentation, configurations, and procedures

- Gain exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Learn firewalls, IPSec, hosting control panels (cPanel), and scripting (Bash/Shell)

- Linux Server Administration (Ubuntu, CentOS)

- Basic Windows Server Administration

- Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Routing, Wireless)

- Oracle Database fundamentals (architecture & components)

- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB

- Scripting: Bash / Shell / Python

- Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V

- Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure / Google Cloud

- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications: RHCE, RHCT, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP

- Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) – DBA
