Engineering at Joko

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on high-impact projects ranging from AI-powered shopping assistants to scalable algorithms handling massive e-commerce datasets. Depending on your skills, you may contribute to:

- Tech Innovation: Build new user-facing products, enhance the shopping experience, and deploy scalable solutions.

- Operations & Efficiency: Develop software solutions for fraud detection, customer support automation, and internal AI assistants.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable software systems across the stack.

- Solve challenging engineering problems with innovative approaches.

- Deploy solutions, monitor performance, and optimize impact.

- Provide technical leadership through mentorship, reviews, and discussions.

- Collaborate with Product & Operations teams to align with business goals.

- Continuously improve processes, tools, and workflows.

Who We’re Looking For

- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.

- Problem-Solving: Analytical, creative, and pragmatic mindset.

- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern language; ability to write clean, efficient code.

- Fast Learner: Adaptable to new tools, frameworks, and environments.

- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, detail-oriented, and efficient.

- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills in English. (French not required)
