About the Role

IQVIA is hiring an Associate Test Engineer to join its growing engineering and quality assurance team. This role is perfect for freshers who want to gain hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, SDLC/STLC processes, and ensure high-quality product delivery in healthcare and life sciences technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test plans and scripts under guidance.

- Perform manual and automated testing of applications and web resources.

- Ensure applications perform as expected on deployed platforms.

- Understand and review requirements and specifications (BRD, FRD, SRS).

- Create, author, and execute test cases for compliance projects.

- Conduct functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, smoke testing, UI testing, and UAT.

- Work closely with developers, tech leads, business analysts, and project stakeholders throughout SDLC.

- Handle defect tracking, reporting, and resolution.

- Execute test scripts and identify areas for test automation improvements.

- Proactively flag risks, challenges, and mitigation plans to the manager.

- Collaborate with BA and development teams to resolve roadblocks.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing concepts.

- Strong manual testing skills and knowledge of test planning, case writing, and execution.

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools.

- Knowledge of SQL queries (basic level).

- Understanding of Agile methodology.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification

- Degree in Computer Science or related fields: BCA, MCA, B.Sc, M.Sc, or equivalent.

- 0–1 year of testing experience (freshers encouraged to apply).
