Role Overview

As an Associate Software Engineer / Software Analyst – Production Support, you will provide critical technical support for live clinical trial studies in production environments. This role focuses on SQL-based reporting, issue analysis, deployment support, and client request management, ensuring compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze client requirements and review data change requests via ticketing systems

- Support clinical trial implementations in live / production environments

- Develop ad-hoc SQL reports based on stakeholder requirements

- Deploy Business Object reports into production systems

- Investigate study-related issues and assist in resolution with minimal supervision

- Evaluate user requests and recommend optimal technical solutions

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (forms, reports, configurations)

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for effective task delivery

- Ensure strict adherence to departmental and corporate SOPs

- Provide rotational shift support, including extended hours during critical situations

Required Technical Skills

- MS SQL Server 2019 (Mandatory)

- Strong understanding of Production Support & Application Support concepts

- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

- Experience with ticketing systems and incident management

- Basic understanding of enterprise software environments

Preferred Skills

- Basic Clinical Research / Healthcare Domain Knowledge

- Exposure to reporting tools (Business Objects preferred)

- Understanding of regulated environments (GxP, SOP-driven processes)
