Role Details

Position: Global DevOps Intern

Location: Irvine, California, USA (Hybrid)

Duration: 10 Weeks (Summer Internship)

Employment Type: Full-Time Internship

Stipend/Salary: $48,200 – $77,100 per year (pro-rated)

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for faster deployments

- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible

- Configure monitoring and alerting systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)

- Work on containerization using Docker and Kubernetes

- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues

- Maintain technical documentation and DevOps best practices

- Research and prototype AI-powered DevOps automation (Agentic AI systems)

- Contribute to improving system performance, scalability, and reliability

Technical Skills Required

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Basic knowledge of AWS / Azure / Google Cloud (GCP)

- Understanding of cloud architecture and virtualized environments

DevOps & CI/CD

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and software delivery lifecycle

- Experience with Git version control systems

Containers & Orchestration

- Hands-on or academic exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

- Understanding of microservices and containerized deployments

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible for automation

Monitoring & Observability

- Familiarity with Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana

- Ability to analyze logs and system performance

Programming & Automation

- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash/Shell

- Ability to build automation scripts and prototypes

AI & Emerging Tech (Good to Have)

- Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel)

- Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and automation workflows

Eligibility Criteria

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (Computer Science / IT or related field)

- Preferred: Junior or Senior students

- Strong interest in DevOps, Cloud, and AI-driven automation

- Good communication and collaboration skills
