About the Role

We are hiring enthusiastic and detail-oriented PL/SQL Developer Interns who want to build a long-term career in Oracle Database Development within the banking and financial technology domain.

This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise-grade Oracle systems, performance tuning, and real-world database engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers

- Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability

- Support database performance tuning and query optimization

- Debug, test, and validate database objects

- Maintain technical and functional documentation

- Support data integration with application and reporting layers

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups and sprint reviews

- Follow best practices for secure coding, data integrity, and version control

Required Technical Skills

- Oracle PL/SQL (procedures, functions, triggers, packages)

- Strong SQL fundamentals (joins, subqueries, constraints, indexes, views)

- Exception handling, cursors, and performance concepts

- Oracle Database fundamentals

- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

- Basic exposure to Git / Version Control

- Exposure to banking, financial services, or ERP systems

- Knowledge of data modeling and normalization

- Familiarity with reporting tools or data extraction

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines
