HotelKey is Hiring Fresher CloudOps Engineer

HotelKey is looking for a motivated CloudOps Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join its cloud operations team in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This opportunity is suitable for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who want to build their careers in AWS cloud computing, Linux administration, cloud infrastructure, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

The selected candidate will support production monitoring, incident handling, troubleshooting, and day-to-day cloud operations while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

- Support daily cloud operations and production environment monitoring.

- Assist with identifying, investigating, and troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues.

- Work with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.

- Use SQL queries, filtering, joins, and data retrieval techniques to investigate operational issues.

- Perform basic Linux administration and troubleshoot system-level problems using Linux commands.

- Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using Python or Shell scripting.

- Assist with infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

- Support incident handling, operational tasks, and monitoring activities.

- Follow SOPs, document troubleshooting steps, and escalate complex issues when required.

- Collaborate with team members to maintain reliable cloud infrastructure and operational stability.

Required Qualifications

- B.E., B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc. in IT/Computer Science, MCA, or an equivalent qualification.

- Minimum 60% throughout academics.

- Freshers with strong technical fundamentals and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

- Willingness to work in 24×7 rotational shifts.

Required Technical Skills

- SQL: Queries, filtering, joins, and data retrieval.

- Scripting: Working knowledge of Shell scripting or Python; Python is preferred.

- AWS Cloud: Basic awareness of EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.

- Linux: Understanding of Linux fundamentals and commonly used commands.

- Terraform: Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.

- Networking: Fundamental understanding of networking concepts.

- Troubleshooting: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Good to Have

- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification.

- Hands-on experience through cloud projects, Linux projects, or internships.

- Basic knowledge of Git and monitoring or alerting tools.
