Role Overview

As a Cloud System Engineer Associate, you will be part of Infor’s Cloud Operations team, responsible for managing high-availability, mission-critical applications. This role demands strong technical knowledge of system administration, AWS cloud platforms, and automation scripting while ensuring system uptime, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure 24x5x365 uptime for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

- Monitor and manage Windows/Linux servers (IIS/JBoss, Tomcat, Active Directory).

- Troubleshoot cloud operations incidents and apply patches/configuration changes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and fulfill service requests.

- Execute scheduled tasks and ensure compliance with operational standards.

- Support ERP systems, workflow engines, and SaaS applications.

- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.

- Maintain accurate documentation of automation efforts and system changes.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (BTech/MCA/BCA).

- 0–2 years of experience in system administration or cloud operations.

- Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows server management.

- Exposure to AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and workflow engines.

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner / Associate) preferred.

- Scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

- Experience with AWS SDKs and automation frameworks.

- Prior customer-facing technical support or SaaS experience.

- Familiarity with databases, security practices, and cloud monitoring tools.
