Role Details

Position: Cloud Operations Engineer

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 3–5 Years

Job Summary

This role focuses on cloud infrastructure monitoring, maintenance, and support across production environments. You will work with cloud platforms, containers, and data center systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Support cloud infrastructure and application alerts

- Monitor and fine-tune observability and alerting systems

- Work in 24x7 shift rotations for operations support

- Manage environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and data centers

- Support Kubernetes clusters, containers, Linux & Windows systems

- Perform incident management and troubleshooting

- Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency

- Maintain system uptime and resolve issues within SLA

- Handle server builds, upgrades, and configurations

- Perform patching and configuration updates

- Create and maintain SOP documentation

Technical Skills Required

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP

- Knowledge of data center operations

Containers & Systems

- Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerization

- Expertise in Linux and Windows server management

Monitoring & Tools

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, PagerDuty

Networking & Databases

- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall, WAF

- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL (plus)

Automation & Scripting

- Experience with Shell scripting and Git

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience

- 3–5 years of experience in cloud operations / infrastructure support

- Experience with virtualization tools (VMware, KVM, Proxmox)

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS or Azure certifications

- Experience in log analysis, tracing, and debugging

- Exposure to automation and infrastructure optimization

---

- Strong communication (verbal & written)

- Ability to work in a global, distributed team

- Problem-solving and analytical mindset

- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
