Job Role: Junior Cloud Engineer – Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Job Type: Full-Time (Remote – Work From India)

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹17,000 INR per month

Experience: Freshers welcome (0–1 year experience)

Job Summary:

Are you a fresher ready to launch your career in cloud computing? Habot Connect DMCC is looking for passionate and driven individuals to join as Junior Cloud Engineers focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience with real-world projects using the latest GCP services like Cloud Run, App Engine, and Kubernetes (GKE). Work closely with experienced professionals, backend/frontend teams, and develop your skills across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deploy and manage applications using Cloud Run, App Engine, and GKE

- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, etc.

- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments (logging, autoscaling, error handling)

- Manage Cloud SQL databases and ensure availability and performance

- Support Firebase Hosting environments for static sites and web apps

- Write automation scripts or cloud functions for routine tasks

- Work with networking, IAM, and security configurations in GCP

- Collaborate with backend/frontend developers for seamless cloud integration

- Optimize for cost-efficiency, speed, and security in deployments

What We're Looking For:

- Education: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline

- Understanding of core GCP services:

- Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Firebase Hosting, Kubernetes (GKE)

- Familiar with CI/CD workflows and tools like Cloud Build, GitHub Actions

- Comfortable with Linux CLI, Git, and version control practices

- Exposure to cloud monitoring, alerting, and logging tools

- Strong interest in building secure, scalable cloud systems

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team environment

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a brief cloud-based hands-on project in the second round. This task helps evaluate your understanding of GCP, problem-solving skills, and approach to real-world cloud infrastructure scenarios.
