Role Overview – DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be part of a dynamic engineering team responsible for automation, cloud infrastructure, system reliability, and continuous integration.

You’ll collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines that support high-performance deployments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for smooth and secure deployments.

- Build and maintain AWS / GCP / Azure cloud infrastructure.

- Automate provisioning and scaling using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.

- Manage containerization and orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes.

- Collaborate across teams to streamline release workflows and infrastructure best practices.

- Maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for version-controlled deployments.

- Implement DevSecOps practices for enhanced cloud security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering.

- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.

- Experience with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Proficiency with cloud platforms – AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and container lifecycle management.

- Familiarity with networking, firewalls, and load balancers.

- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring & logging tools.

Preferred Skills:

- Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for infrastructure automation.

- Python, Go, or Bash scripting for automation tasks.

- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.

- Exposure to DevSecOps and Cloud Security practices.
