Position Details

- Role: Associate Software Engineer

- Function/Group: Digital & Technology

- Location: Powai, Mumbai, India

- Shift Timing: 10 AM – 7 PM (Regular)

- Mode: Hybrid (In-Office + Remote)

- Reports To: Manager

Purpose of the Role

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, coding, and supporting cloud-native applications, websites, and console data jobs. You will work closely with global teams, using DevOps, GitHub Actions, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices to build scalable and reliable business solutions.

Key Accountabilities

- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

- Participate in scrum activities, coding, unit testing, requirement analysis, and debugging.

- Own and resolve critical production issues within defined SLAs.

- Drive code quality, reviews, and adherence to best practices.

- Develop unit and integration tests; contribute to automation tools.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and agile methodologies.

- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

- Education: Full-time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory).

- Technical Expertise:

- Strong in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, RESTful APIs

- Hands-on with JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular)

- Experience in MSSQL/NoSQL databases, SSIS, Unit Testing frameworks

- Familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication & problem-solving abilities.

- Agile Experience: Understanding of Agile methodologies & sprint estimation.

- Mindset: Passion for emerging tech, collaboration, and innovation.

- Degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Expertise in:

- OOP, SOLID principles, LINQ, async programming, generics

- Major .NET UI frameworks (MVC/Blazor/ASP.NET)

- Databases like SQL/Oracle/Postgres

- Unit testing & Agile practices
