About the Role

Gartner is hiring a motivated MLOps Engineer to join its growing software engineering team. You will be responsible for building reliable Python and Spark-based ML solutions, deploying models, and maintaining pipelines in production. This role provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Engineers on highly scalable ML workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deploy ML inferencing and data pipelines using AWS tools such as S3, EMR, Glue, and Athena

- Build and manage Python APIs using frameworks like FastAPI and Django

- Deploy ML models using SageMaker and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments

- Ensure performance, scalability, and quality of APIs and services

- Collaborate closely with product teams, engineers, and data scientists

- Troubleshoot production issues and support operations when necessary

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 0–2 years of experience in building ML and data pipelines using Python and Spark

- Proficient in Python; knowledge of Spark is a plus

- Hands-on experience with RESTful API development using FastAPI or Django

- Practical experience in Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), or SageMaker

- Familiar with Terraform or CloudFormation for deploying AWS resources

- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and version control (Git)

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking
