Job Responsibilities

- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Work on configuration management and automation using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

- Deploy, monitor, and support applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Maintain and enhance containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Troubleshoot environment and deployment issues to ensure system stability and performance.

- Support version control workflows, build processes, and automated testing.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency.

- Monitor system health and respond to alerts using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.

- Hands-on experience through internships or projects with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).

- Strong understanding of Docker (mandatory); Kubernetes knowledge is preferred.

- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.

- Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.

- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

- Exposure to microservices architecture.

- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or DevOps tools are an added advantage but not mandatory.
