Flexera is hiring a Cloud Monitoring Engineer to proactively monitor cloud infrastructure and ensure high availability, performance, and reliability for global B2B customers. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build strong experience in cloud operations, FinOps, and modern monitoring technologies.

Salary & Package Details

- India Salary: ₹6 LPA to ₹12 LPA (estimated, based on role level, skills, and market standards)

- Abroad Salary: Not applicable for this role

Job Responsibilities

- Proactively monitor internal, staging, and production cloud environments to prevent outages.

- Use monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and cloud-native monitoring services.

- Monitor and support cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

- Work with modern cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS ECS, EKS, and RDS.

- Perform 24/7 proactive monitoring aligned with global customer time zones.

- Identify, categorize, log, and respond to incidents across application, network, and system layers.

- Support incident response, escalation, and root cause analysis.

- Monitor and alert both internal systems and customer-facing services.

- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Product teams to improve alert accuracy and reduce response times.

- Communicate effectively regarding system changes, upgrades, and service improvements.

Skills Required

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

- Basic to intermediate understanding of cloud computing concepts.

- Experience or academic exposure to SQL.

- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

- Understanding of Linux systems and production environments.

- Ability to prioritize tasks based on SLAs and customer impact.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities in a global environment.

Eligibility & Experience

- Experience Required: 0 to 3 years.

- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field (preferred).

- Prior experience in SaaS or cloud-based environments is an advantage.

- Customer-facing or support experience is preferred.

- Willingness to work in a hybrid model from Bangalore.

- Flexibility to work in 24/7 rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
