Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our engineering team in Mangaluru. You will collaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, security teams, and platform engineers to build reliable cloud infrastructure, automate software delivery, improve deployment pipelines, strengthen platform security, and optimize Kubernetes-based application environments.

This position provides excellent exposure to Enterprise DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, AI-assisted software delivery, Infrastructure Automation, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, and modern Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and enterprise DevOps tools.

- Collaborate with development teams to automate application build, testing, deployment, rollback, and release management.

- Build, optimize, and maintain Docker container images for enterprise applications.

- Deploy, administer, and manage Kubernetes clusters for highly available production workloads.

- Configure Kubernetes deployments, namespaces, ingress controllers, networking, autoscaling, load balancing, and service discovery.

- Support cloud-native applications hosted on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and modern cloud automation frameworks.

- Improve deployment reliability through automation, scripting, and continuous delivery best practices.

- Configure Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, repository security, and version control workflows.

- Work with GitOps methodologies to simplify Kubernetes deployments and infrastructure management.

- Integrate DevSecOps security controls throughout the CI/CD pipeline.

- Implement automated code quality checks using SonarQube and repository management through Artifactory.

- Configure cloud identity management, IAM permissions, secrets management, and secure infrastructure access.

- Deploy scalable microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Implement monitoring, centralized logging, metrics collection, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and enterprise monitoring solutions.

- Troubleshoot production infrastructure, deployment failures, networking issues, Kubernetes workloads, and container performance problems.

- Perform Linux system administration, server maintenance, package management, security updates, and infrastructure optimization.

- Develop automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Groovy, or Python.

- Participate in platform modernization, cloud migration, release automation, and enterprise infrastructure transformation initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams following Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Maintain technical documentation, deployment runbooks, disaster recovery procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational standards.

- Mentor developers on Git workflows, containerization, Kubernetes deployment strategies, and DevOps best practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

- 2–5 years of professional DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.

- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Good knowledge of Linux administration.

- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts.

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Familiarity with container networking, service discovery, load balancing, and Kubernetes architecture.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
