About the Role

Earrow is hiring a Trainee Systems Engineer skilled in CentOS, Ubuntu, LAMP Stack, Postfix, DNS, Git, Shell Scripting, MS365, Azure, and Backup Management.

This role is ideal for candidates eager to grow their careers in Linux system administration, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps automation.

As part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations to ensure smooth, secure, and reliable software deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain Linux servers in cloud environments (Azure, CPanel)

- Manage Postfix Email Relay Systems

- Manage DNS servers and domain-related infrastructure

- Monitor and analyze system performance ensuring high availability

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and system-level issues

- Develop automation scripts (Shell, PHP; C++ is an added advantage)

- Manage backups and disaster recovery processes

- Implement and follow infrastructure security best practices

- Basic MySQL/MariaDB database administration

Requirements

- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or RCSE/equivalent

- Minimum 6 months internship as Systems Administrator

- Experience in CentOS, Ubuntu, LAMP stack, Postfix, DNS, Git

- Strong skills in Bash/PHP scripting

- Familiarity with Azure and GoDaddy cloud environments

- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methods

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

- Good communication skills (written & verbal)

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
